Hi! My name is Joy and I’m originally from Brooklyn, NY. These images are inspired by my grandmother Sofia who shared stories with me and my cousins about her childhood in Syria and life in Lebanon. Her stories stayed with me over the years and led me to travel with a sense of curiosity and an unfolding purpose. I’m so very grateful to the dear friends I’ve met along the way, who’ve made me feel most at home.
